Some of you may have noticed that my submissions for new photos has slowed to a trickle consisting of my monthly Full Moon Project. I think that largely has to do with my desire to photograph something different, but I lack ideas for things to photograph. Most of my photography consists of outdoor shots, landscapes and buildings and the like. But I want to try and take something new; small objects, posed props, macro, abstract photos, models...things of that sort. But I'm badly hurting for ideas. I also want to try new techniques for polishing a photo while still retaining the original feel. Different uses of contrast or filters in Photoshop, things like that.
If anyone has any ideas for things to photograph, let me know. And if any photographers want to drop a tip on how to make my photos look more professional and/or artistic, don't hesitate to give me pointers.

Today's Vin Diesel Fact
"In 2006, Vin Diesel will star and direct the film 'Hannibal', about Hannibal Barca, the Carthaginian General who led an elephant-riding army across the alps to attack Rome in the 3rd century BC. The film is actually footage taken when Vin Diesel led the army himself hundreds of years ago, with the intent of releasing it as a film as soon as Earth technology caught up with his superior, home-made equipment."

A short entry, but one of the biggest issues I have with being able to take photos is transportation. My only non-buddy related way of getting around is my motorcycle so a while back I bought a camera backpack but after my first trip out on the bike I found the zipper wanted to walk. The last thing I wanted is to risk $1,800 dollars worth of camera equipment being scattered across the highway. So, I was effectively stuck.
However, a day or so ago, after a suggestion from a friend, I rigged up a locking system for my bag to keep it from unzipping. The next chance I get I need to test it out but I'm hopeful. I already go on motorcycl

So, I had a look at the last photo I uploaded before yesterday and found it had been over a year since the last time I uploaded anything. This is something I am neither proud of nor happy about but it has been so long for a number of reasons. Well, two reasons. At first because I was just uninspired. Then because my computer figured it had enough of life and decided to start a long, slow death. I finally got so frustrated with it that I said fuck it. I've been without a computer since before last October; 7 months now.
However, as one might notice, I now have access to the internet again as well as photo editing software. On top of

Ohh yeah, this is just swell. It seems a few days back, a game crashed and reverted my colors to 4-bit and reset my pixels to 640x480. Okay, that wasn't so bad...but wait, what's this? I'm now being plagued by digital artifacts. And they only show up for games, internet browsers, flash programs, and movies and things played off my hard drive.
So, I have a friend and computer tech come out and take a look and give him the rundown of what happened after I had a House Patient moment...no, I will not elaborate. Anyway, at this point I have four possible options. I could reinstall DirectX and see if that works, I could uninstall the game be
